Due to works planned to be undertaken by Walker Construction (UK) Ltd, it will be necessary to close part of B2246 Hermitage Lane, Aylesford, from 20th October 2025 with estimated completion by 1st November 2025.

B2246 Hermitage Lane, Aylesford, will be closed in the vicinity of the southern junction of Richard Corben Way. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. Access will be maintained for blue light vehicles. 

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2246 Hermitage Lane, A20 London Road, A228 Ashton Way, A228 Malling Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2246 Fountain Lane, B2246 Hermitage Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow highway improvement works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Walker Construction (UK) Ltd.
