KCC - Temporary Road Closure - Teapot Lane and Woodlands Road, Aylesford - 20th July 2026
Due to works planned to be undertaken by SGN, it will be necessary to close parts of Teapot Lane & Woodlands Road, Aylesford, from 20th July 2026 with estimated completion by 7th August 2026.
Teapot Lane will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with A20 London Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Woodlands Road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with A20 London Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic for Teapot Lane is via Teapot Lane, Elm Walk, The Oaks, The Avenue, Hall Road, A20 London Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for any through traffic for Woodlands Road is via Woodlands Road, New Road, A20 London Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow gas main connections to be carried out, works are undertaken by SGN.

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Scotia Gas Networks, it will be necessary to close and impose no waiting on parts of Bull Lane, Pilgrims Way & Rochester Road, Eccles, from 22nd July 2026 with estimated completion by 30th August 2026 as per the following schedule:
Bull Lane will be closed from 22nd July 2026, with estimated completion by 30th August 2026.
The road will be closed from the junction with Rochester Road/Pilgrims Way to the junction with Mackenders Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Pilgrims Way, Rochester Road, Kits Coty Slip Southbound On, A229 Blue Bell Hill, A229 Chatham Road, Cobtree Roundabout, A229 Chatham Road, Running Horse Roundabout, Forstal Road, High Street, Bull Lane.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Bull Lane, High Street, Forstal Road, Running Horse Roundabout, A229 Chatham Road, Cobtree Roundabout, A229 Chatham Road, Kits Coty Slip Northbound Off, Rochester Road, Pilgrims Way.
Pilgrims Way and Rochester Road will be closed from 22nd July 2026, with estimated completion by 7th August 2026.
The roads will be closed at the junction with Bull Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Westbound through traffic is via Rochester Road, New Court Road, Village Road, Peters Bridge Road, A228 Holborough Road, A228 Snodland By Pass, A228 Malling Road, A228 Castle way, A228 Leybourne By Pass, A20 London Road, A20 Tonbridge Road, A20 The Broadway, SA229 St Peters Bridge, A229 Fairmeadow, A229 Royal Engineers Road, A229 Chatham Road, A229 Blue Bell Hill, A229 Kits Coty Northbound Off Slip, Rochester Road, Pilgrims Way, Rochester Road.
The alternative route for any Eastbound through traffic is via Pilgrims Way, Kits Coty Southbound On Slip, A229 Bluebell Hill, A229 Chatham Road, A229 Royal Engineers Road, A229 Fairmeadow, A229 The Broadway, A20 Tonbridge Road, A20 London Road, A228 Ashton Way, A228 Leybourne By Pass, A228 Castle Way, A228 Malling Road, A228 Snodland By Pass, A228 Holborough Road, Peters Bridge Road, Village Road, New Court Road, Rochester Road.

A229 Bluebell Hill Slip South On, will be closed in its entirety, in 2 phases between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site as detailed below:
Phase 1 - Start date 22nd August 2026, with estimated completion by 23rd August 2026, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 only.
Phase 2 - Start date 29th August 2026, with estimated completion by 31st August 2026, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 only.
