KCC - South East Water - Temporary Road Closure - Warren Road, Bluebell Hill - 26th January 2026
Due to works planned to be undertaken by South East Water, it will be necessary to close part of Warren Road, Bluebell Hill, from 26th January 2026 with estimated completion by 30th January 2026.
Warren Road, Bluebell Hill, will be closed in the vicinity of Bluebell Hill House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Warren Road, Lower Warren Road, Rochester Road, Chatham Road, A229 Kits Coty Slip Northbound On, A229 Blue Bell Hill, A229 Bluebell Hill Slip North Off, A229 Lord Lees Roundabout, A229 Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge, A229 Taddington Wood Roundabout, A229 Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge, A229 Maidstone Road, Mill Lane and Warren Road.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Warren Road, Mill Lane, A229 Maidstone Road, A229 Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge, A229 Lord Lees Roundabout, A229 Bluebell Hill Slip South On, A229 Blue Bell Hill, Kits Coty Slip Southbound Off, Lower Warren Road and Warren Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow fire hydrant works to be carried out, works are undertaken by South East Water.

Kent County Council - Temporary Cycle Lane Suspension - A20 London Road, Allington - 16th February 2026Due to works planned to be undertaken by The Electricity Network Company Limited, it will be necessary to temporarily suspend the cycle lane on part of A20 London Road, Allington, from 16th February 2026 with estimated completion by 27th February 2026.
A suspension of the cycle lane will be imposed approximately 120 metres down from Bunyard Way. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow cabling works to be carried out, works are undertaken by The Electricity Network Company Limited.

Lane, Maidstone
Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to close and impose a 30 MPH speed limit on part of B2246 Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, from 12th January 2026 with estimated completion by 20th February 2026.
B2246 Hermitage Lane will have a 30 MPH speed limit imposed from 12th January 2026, with estimated completion date of 20th February 2026, between the junction with Hermitage Court to the junction with Giddyhorn Lane.
B2246 Hermitage Lane will be closed from 2nd February 2026 with estimated completion date of 8th February 2026, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only, between the junction with Hermitage Court to the junction with Giddyhorn Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. Access will be maintained for blue light vehicles.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via B2246 Hermitage Lane, B2246 Fountain Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A20 Terrace Road, A20 London Road and B2246 Hermitage Lane.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via B2246 Hermitage Lane, A20 London Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2246 Fountain Lane and B2246 Hermitage Lane.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
